Crossing water
Tips for Crossing water:
If you are thinking of making a pass through water obstacles, check the depth with a pole or even a branch, its
much better than finding out that hard way that the water was 6ft deep!
Do not cross streams of unknown depth or with a strong current.
In deeper bodies of water create a small bow wave about one meter in front of the bumper.
Do not stop mid run unless absolutely necessary and/or safe to do.
As you approach the shore, ease off on the throttle and climb out slowly.
How to Create the Perfect Bow wave:
Accelerate as you enter the water until a small bow wave has formed.
Try to keep it about one meter in front of the bumper to keep water away from the fan and electronics.
Maintain a speed that keeps the bow wave flowing in front of the bumper.
